…a cosmetic over haul to aging GRP flat roofs.
It is common knowledge that fibreglass roofs out perform traditional roof coverings in every area. It is not uncommon for a GRP roof, without any form of maintenance last well in access of 25 years. Having said this, they can cosmetically start to look a bit drab and in some cases, start to let down the appearance of a property, due to algae forming and the topcoat fading.
This is where Fibre-Revive comes in…
We spray a coating of TFR cleaning solution onto the roof in question and thoroughly clean away any algae or dirt. Then the roof and flashings are lightly sanded to provide a key for the new topcoat…also at this stage any up-stand flashings are re-pointed with sealant if deemed necessary. After a thorough wipe with Acetone the new high performance Topcoat is applied and allowed to cure.
