We have specialised in many types of flat roof coverings since the company was formed in the early 1970’s. The roof coverings we offer include SBS polyester torch applied felts, liquid applied waterproofing, single ply and fibreglass (GRP).Although the traditional & SBS torch applied felt systems have been the most popular coverings in recent years PVC single ply, liquid applied membranes and Glass re-inforced plastic (GRP) have become ever more common, even on domestic properties, as owners strive to achieve a simpler cost effective solution to their existing flat roof problems.
We are approved installers of Armourplan single ply membrane, FDT Rhepanol fleece backed single ply and Scott Bader GRP products. Together with our exclusive range of imported torch on membranes we are able to offer a complete flat roof solution with a minimum 20 Year guarantee.

Most recently we have seen a big increase in green roof technologies, mostly due to new government backed financial incentives, with both domestic and commercial customers looking to reduce their carbon footprint and develop a self-sustainable green roof option. Icopal SBS torch applied felt systems
High performance elastomeric SBS torch-on roofing membranes developed for use in high performance built-up systems on flat, pitched or curved roofs.
Icopal's SBS torch-on capsheets also feature a unique patented mini groove profile that enables up to 30% faster application times and uses 25% less gas than traditional torch-on membranes.
These systems are ideally suited to domestic and commercial properties due to the very economical costs involved.

Vetroasfalto - Sappi Evermore 5600 SBS flat roof system.
Evermore 5600 is an elastomeric torch applied membrane reinforced with non woven polyester fleece that can be used in temperatures down to minus 25 degrees and available in a variety of mineral finish colours.
Suitable for use either as a cost effective single layer overlay to asphalt, traditional felt or as part of systems with standard underlays and venting layers.
Sappi, the manufacturers of torch-on membranes and accessories are arguably the oldest surviving Italian bitumen felt manufacturer and were probably the first in the World to produce torch-on membranes. They purchased the Sappi brand many years ago and have built on the strengths of both brands.
From Milan in northern Italy they supply many parts of the world and in addition are the largest manufacturer in Brazil. They produce a full range of both APP and SBS modified bitumen membranes under ISO certification and all the products are covered by genuine insurance warranties for periods up to 20 years. The warranties are available on approved systems that are laid in accordance with current codes of practice and can include both labour and material.
FDT Rhepanol fk - singleply system
FDT's Rhepanol fk is about as good as it gets in regards to waterproofing flat roofs.
This German engineered system is ideal for both new build and re-roofing. This unique self-sealing edge system is suitable for timber, concrete, profiled metal or hot or cold roof constructions.It can be loose laid, bonded or mechanical fixed with a unique GripFix velcro type system.
Rhepanol fk is especially suited to green roof applications and has a BBA certificate stating a lifespan of at least 30years.
IKO Armourplan PVC - Singleply heat welded system
Armourplan is a polyester-reinforced PVC membrane which is suitable for use on a wide range of roofing applications, including refurbishment, new build and more specialist installations such as simulated metal roofs.
